Christmas Greetings from Aislaby Lodge

It's that time of year, the time when we all wonder where another year has gone, and look forward to the next.

We'd like to wish all our guests and friends a very happy Christmas and a peaceful new year, and we look forward to welcoming you again to Aislaby Lodge Cottages in the future.

Whitby's not renowned for its wonderful Christmas lights, but we don't do too badly, with a number of trees lit up around town and the usual array of strung lights suspended above our high streets.

In fact, it's the lights and trees adorning the shops in the old part of town which caught our eye this year - and of course, the Polar Bear, stood on top of the whole foods shop next to the swing bridge.
