Le Tour de Yorkshire - 30 Days and Counting!

Le de Tour Yorkshire is arriving in just 30 days (the Whitby section is running on 1st May) - and we're excited!

Starting in Bridlington, the riders will make their way north and inland, via Eastfield and then towards Pickering. They'll cross some of our picturesque North York Moors scenery before arriving in the Esk Valley at Danby. From here they'll head towards the coast, taking in a number of Esk Valley villages (including Sleights, on our doorstep) before passing through Whitby and then Robin Hood's Bay before putting in the final effort and heading back to Scarborough for the finish line.

What a route!

Being on the doorstep of this amazing event, we have easy access to any of the wonderful vantage points for this stage of Le Tour de Yorkshire.

Whether you fancy being part of the crowds in Whitby, or are happy to stand on the edge of the road in the middle of nowhere and experience the excitement from your favourite location on the course, you're bound to enjoy the most wonderfully memorable day!

Our suggestion would be, pick your spot early, pack up a picninc and head out to enjoy the best that Yorkshire has to offer - beautiful scenery, a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and hopefully some warm sunshine!
