Enjoy Some of Yorkshire's World-Renowned Hospitality in 2016
What do you get when you cross comfortable and spacious holiday accommodation with one of the UK's most picturesque and constantly popular destinations?
The ingredients for a wonderful holiday, that's what!
So what's so good about Whitby and North Yorkshire? Here are some our top reasons for visiting Yorkshire this year:
No Language Barrier - Almost!
Save yourself the stress of learning a foreign language - or even just attempting a simple sentence. Stay in the UK and concentrate on having fun, exploring new areas and generally enjoying yourself.
Sometimes, however, we may say something which seems uninteligable to those from outside of our wonderful county. You may wish to famliarise yourself with this list before you come and visit us:
No Airport Waits or Stressful Flights
Particularly for those with small children, the idea of waiting in an airport for a few hours before having to sit down in a metal tube in the sky for several hours can be more than daunting.
Come to Yorkshire by car. Save yourselves the stress of an airline flight. And enjoy being able to stop and enjoy the surroundings at any point. Whatever direction you approach Whitby from you're guaranteed a huge choice of scenic views and wonderful places to stop for a picnic or an amble about.
And be glad that you didn't have to endure this:
Yorkshire's World-Renowned Hospitality
People from Yorkshire are well known around the world for their attentive and friendly hospitality. It's probably to do with our slower and more relaxed pace of life!
We've always got time for a chat - or a pint (depending on the time of day!) Come and enjoy our cafes, restaurants, shops - Yorkshire is home to so many independant businesses you'll never have time to visit them all!
Wonderful Scenery - Beaches & Countryside
Yorkshire has long been enjoyed as holiday destination due to it's wonderful scenery, including some of the UK's best beaches.
Aislaby Lodge Cottages are situated in the Esk Valley - a very scenic part of the county. We often enjoy the sight of the North York Moors Steam Railway Engines running along the line in the bottom of the valley, along with a glimpse of the River Esk sparkling in the sunshine.
A little further afield and there's Sandsend, Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay beaches to enjoy - amongst many others. And if towns are more your thing, why not enjoy Pickering, Harrogate or York.
What Are You Waiting For?
Give us a call - if we have late availability you may get a bargain. But our pricing for 2016 is fixed at 2015 rates anyway - so Aislaby Lodge Cottages represents real Yorkshire value anyway!
