Now we're into September and the summer holidays will very soon be over :(
But with so much going on in Whitby over the coming months, the autumn is a wonderful time to visit. Not only does Whitby play host to some world-leading events such as the Musicport World Music Festival and Goth Weekend, it is also one of the most picturesque locations.
Surrounded by the rugged North York Moors, and the dramatic cliffs of the Yorkshire Coast, once the purple of the heather begins to disappear the golden hues of autumn appear, heralding the change in seasons.
And if the weather really does nose-dive, you can always be certain of a warm welcome at Aislaby Lodge, and enjoy our cosy cottages, wood-burning stoves and open fires.
