New Year's Breaks in Whitby
The New Year is upon us. And it's got off to a pretty damp start here in North Yorkshire with plenty of rain, and not a snowflake in sight!
However, we never let a spell of poor weather dampen our spirits - no matter how wet the outlook. There's always plenty to see and do in Whitby and the area - and there's nothing better than simply enjoying the hospitality of a local pub, sitting by a roaring open fire and switching off for a few hours.
If you're a little more adventurous, Aislaby Lodge is the perfect place from which to explore the Esk Valley's footpaths and bridleways. Arm yourself with an Ordnance Survey map and off you go (or find a more well-trodden route) and enjoy the wonderful scenery that Yorkshire has to offer, even at this time of year!
Why not book yourself a few nights in North Yorkshire, at Aislaby Lodge and get your New Year off to a really relaxing start!
So what are we looking forward to in 2016? Well, there are a number of highlights - here are a few:
We'll be sharing more about these as they draw nearer, but if any of these events take your fancy make sure you book your accommodation early - Whitby continues to grow in popularity!
We hope 2016 will be a peaceful and prospoerous year for you!
