New Year's Breaks in Whitby
The New Year is upon us. And it's got off to a pretty damp start here in North Yorkshire with plenty of rain, and not a snowflake in sight!
However, we never let a spell of poor weather dampen our spirits - no matter how wet the outlook. There's always plenty to see and do in Whitby and the area - and there's nothing better than simply enjoying the hospitality of a local pub, sitting by a roaring open fire and switching off for a few hours.
If you're a little more adventurous, Aislaby Lodge is the perfect place from which to explore the Esk Valley's footpaths and bridleways. Arm yourself with an Ordnance Survey map and off you go (or find a more well-trodden route) and enjoy the wonderful scenery that Yorkshire has to offer, even at this time of year!
